A nursery is provided in the Education Building during the morning worship service for the care of children up to four (4) years of age.

Listening devices for those who would like assistance are available in the narthex.  Ask an usher for help.

Session Highlights

for JANUARY 16, 2012

The Session met and…

…opened the meeting with prayer.

…discussed changes in the “Book of Order” which eliminated the category of Inactive Members;

…heard a report from our treasurer, Randy Albertson, that the church ended the year in the black;

…heard a PEEP report giving the dates of the chicken dinner (March 16) and the Festival Fun Day (April 28);

…requested Bill to invite the members of Jones Chapel FWB Church to come worship with us;

…approved celebrating the Sacrament of Baptism for the children of Bert & Morgan Swinson and Tim & Shila Cotton;

…voted to hold a Confirmation Class during Lent for children interested in joining the church;

…heard reports from committees;

…prayed for those in the congregation and community;

…adjourned with prayer until the next Session Meeting on February 20.

          Our church is a “Senior Congregate Site” and has been for years.  It is one of the ways we share what God has entrusted to us with the community, in the name of Christ.
