Linda Dean, PEEP Director
I am blessed to be the Director of the Presbyterian Early Enrichment Program (P. E. E. P.), holding this position since August, 1992. I am a native of Latham, New York where I lived until attending college in Massachusetts earning a B. A. in Social Work and Theology from Berkshire Christian College. My husband, Paul, and I lived in Virginia, where I directed a preschool in the Richmond area, and Florida before moving to Duplin County in August 1988. In addition to directing, I am currently the lead teacher in the morning four year old class. Both the staff and board of the preschool are committed to providing exposure to a rich learning environment creating a foundation for lifelong learning. Believing that play is a large part of a child’s education, we want to create a safe environment where each child can thrive and build confidence while exploring the world around them. I consider it a privilege to see the world through the eyes of a child each day. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking with my husband, camping and visiting National Parks throughout the United States. I have two adult children and 3 granddaughters and look forward to spending as much time as possible with them.
Thank you for sharing your children with us!
