PEEP Director
Hello PEEP families! I'm a Beulaville native where I've lived basically my entire life. I'm married to Michael and have two sons, Austin and Josh and a new daughter-in-law, Mallory (Josh's wife). We also have a few pets -- Andy, our dog, and Floyd and Ellie, our cats. I worked as a kindergarten teacher for Duplin County schools for 30 years and retired in June of 2023. Since then, I've enjoyed getting a chance to work with children in a Christian preschool setting before they head off to "big school". In addition to being the director here, I also teach our 4s class. I attend church at Beulaville Presbyterian Church. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, getting out in the yard and garden, playing the piano, reading, woodworking, and other types of crafts.
Theresa Houston
Lead Teacher (2s and 3s), Assistant to the Director
I was born in Pender County and have lived in Duplin County my entire life. A graduate of East Duplin High School, I have been married to my husband, Jamey, for 35 years. We are blessed with two daughters, Hillary and Katie, a son-in-law, Riley, and two grandsons, Houston and Weston. I have been part of PEEP for more than 20 years and currently serve as the lead teacher in the two- and three-year-old classes. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family.
Emma Lee
Teacher (3s) and teacher assistant (4s)
I have worked at PEEP with 3s and 4s for several years now. This year I’m a teacher in the 3s class and an assistant in the 4s class. I enjoy working with young children and am glad to call PEEP home. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and boyfriend.

Teacher assistant (2s and 3s)
I have worked at PEEP for several years and absolutely love working with young children. I assist Mrs. Theresa with 2s and 3s and enjoy all parts of my job. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and shopping

Teacher assistant (3s and 4s)
Ashley Rhodes, teacher assistant (3s and 4s): I’m in the third year of working at PEEP and I have the joy of sharing the love of Jesus. My is in Beulaville with my better half, Jeffrey, and our blended family. In our free time we love to go the the Outer Banks and the mountains where we can relax and make memories together
